After selling out of our Bath, Lincoln and Knebworth set in record time and leaving a large number of disappointed fans we have produced the Definitive Bath, Knebworth and Lincoln set with even more items and again in a very limited edition of 250.

These festivals, promoted by my father, Freddy Bannister, were some of the most legendary European events and included:

The 1969 Bath Blues Festival which was unique among European festivals as it was the very first outdoor event Led Zeppelin played (appearing 4th on the bill).  The programme included Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, John Mayall, Ten years After, Nice, Chicken Shack, John Hiseman's Colosseum, Taste featuring Rory Gallagher,Blodwyn Pig, Keef Hartley, Savoy Brown etc.

The 1970 Bath Festival of Blues and Progressive Music had probably  the best line up  ever seen in the UK and included Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, John Mayall's Blues Breakers, The Byrds, Canned Heat, Dr John, Steppenwolf, Santana, Johnny Winter, Country Joe, It's A Beautiful Day, Flock, Hot Tuna, Fairport Convention and Maynard Ferguson's Big Band

The 1971 Lincoln Folk Festival featured James Taylor, The Byrds, Tom Paxton, Buffy St Marie, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Tim Hardin, Dion, Pentangle, The Incredible String Band, Sandy Denny, Steeleye Span, Ralph McTell, Dave Swarbrick and Martin Carthy

The 1974 Knebworth set commemorates the very first Knebworth festival with The Allman brothers, Doobie Bros, Van Morrison, Tim Buckley, The Mahavishnu Orchestra and the Alex Harvey Band. It was the festival that helped make Knebworth the legend it became.

1975 was the year Pink floyd headlined at Knebworth, complete with World War 11 spitfires low flying behind the stage as they started their set. The festival also included Steve Miller, Captain Beefheart, Roy Harper and Linda Lewis.

The 1976 Knebworth Fair featured the Rolling Stones (playing their longest set ever) 10cc, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Todd Rungren, Hot Tuna and the Don Harrison Band

In 1978 Genesis and Jefferson Starship headlined the first Knebworth festival and because the press were putting us down for using the 'safe big old dinasaurs' the second Knebworth 78 festival, which we called 'Not Another Boring Old Knebworth, featured The Tubes, Frank Zappa, Boomtown Rats, Peter Gabriel, Rockpile and Wilco Johnson's Solid Senders.

The 1979 Knebworth festival, which has now become one of the most legendary and as far as my father is concerned the most controversal featured Led Zeppelin, New Barbarians, Todd Rundgren, Southside Johnny and, at the special request of Peter Grant, Chas and Dave.
